Tipped by Guy Garvey for big things, Goan Dogs’ unique cinematic sound is laden with rich harmonies, infectious rhythms and a shade of the calypso sleaze.
The group has picked up some glowing press from the likes of The Fly and Louder Than War, as well as airplay on BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio Bristol. They’ve secured slots with Maps & Atlases, Kyla La Grange, George Ezra and Zun Zun Egui among others, and played large UK festivals, including Green Man, Dot to Dot and Larmer Tree Festival.

The Starkins hail from the Dearne Valley Sheffield and comprise brothers Matt Elliss (guitar), and Jo Elliss (drums), together with Will Campbell (bass) and Andy Daniels (vocals).
Rather than dwell on dank, dreary grey skies, The Starkins’ manifesto is simple – roll back the carpet and insanely bounce up and down to a melody packed, sweaty racket and I promise you, feeling good never felt this good.
New single Wasted is infectious indie-pop at it's finest. Comparisons with the Arctic Monkeys are inevitable, but The Starkins have the charm, the tunes and the talent to do it their own way.

Jack Garratt is the textbook definition of an artist on the rise. Hailing from Buckinghamshire, the 24-year-old multi-instrumentalist has quickly gained fans across the globe with a pair of EPs and another pair of singles over the last year. Using only his own musical and production gifts, he crafts a sound that sits somewhere between alternative indie music and the current R&B vogue, something that’s as likely to draw comparisons to Disclosure as Ed Sheeran.
On new single “Breathe Life”, however, he’s presenting another case that making comparisons is a fools errand. At first glance, the cut is a watery slice of rhythm and blues, a slinking sexuality and snapping coolness slowly building underneath. As the chorus comes in, however, guitars reveal shades of funk and piano adds a theatrical pacing. By the time the halfway mark comes around, the whole thing has been reborn as an electronic storm of fuzzy synths and thumping low end.

Formed by Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody as an outlet for his facsination with country music, Tired Pony began taking shape in 2009. By October of that year, the solo project had expanded into a full on supergroup with REM's Peter Buck coming on board, and contributions from the likes of Zooey Deschanel and Editors frontman Tom Smith.
The result of those sessions was the well received debut album, The Place We Ran From. The follow up, The Ghost Of The Mountain was released in 2013 and the track below is taken from it.
